For Henry's birthday we got up and out the door fairly early, taking Henry to Cora's for breakfast. He happened to wake up with a huge cold so he wasn't in a great mood and wasn't too happy to be out (and spilled my coffee all over the place), so it wasn't the most relaxing and fun birthday activity for him. But for the rest of the family it at least felt like a birthday activity. After that we were home for a bit before his nap. We had a small party for him in the afternoon where the family came over for snacks and cupcakes. It was a nice time. Henry did pretty good with his cupcake, happy to squish the icing in his fingers and try some bites, eventually pitching it off the side of his highchair.
Little one year old boy. Can hardly believe it.
